Design/Construction Engineer - Suburban Chicago
Midwest-based Donohue & Associates, Inc., a preferred provider of water and wastewater engineering services, is seeking a senior engineer with capabilities to provide project management, design services, and resident construction representation for suburban clients. The ideal candidate will have a minimum 7 -10 years of combined design engineering and construction experience on water/wastewater projects with construction values ranging from $2M to $20M. The initial assignments will involve part-time on-site representation on a two-year wastewater treatment plant expansion in the southern Chicago suburbs valued at approximately $12 million and management of water/wastewater/civil engineering projects including design involvement. A strong network within the engineering/public works community of suburban Chicago is a plus. Base office will be located in the western Chicago area suburbs.

Experience: 7+ years of progressive design, construction observation, management/administration or related experience
Education: B.S. degree required (civil or environmental) and PE registration preferred
Skills: Must have excellent communication, client, and organizational skills and be able to work in a team environment across multiple offices. Proficiency in AutoCAD/MicroStation, MS Office and related software required.
